Applications
SXBlue III GNSS has been integrated with SXPad 624 MHz via Bluetooth. The centimeter level RTK-fixed coordinates in Field Genius software have been obtained using real-time Network correction from a CanNet subscription and an active SIM card.
Two sets of SXBlue III GNSS and SXPad 624 MHz have been used as Rover and Base setups. SXBlue Mirror software has been used in Base SXPad alongwith active phone SIM card to connect to SXBlue Server software running on office desktop computer. The centimeter level RTK-fixed coordinates (X, Y, Z) in Field Genius on Rover SXPad (with active phone SIM card) has been obtained using real-time base data from Base setup and SXBlue Server. The precise elevation of individual properties within the floodplain is used by insurance companies to determine risk and exposure to liabilities. This setup can also log raw observable data for post-processing with avoiding cost of subscription when working in areas without cellular coverage.
